DR. AMBEDKAR MAHAPARINIRVAN DIWAS 2018
Dr. Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Diwas 2018 will be observed on Thursday, the 6th of December. This year, i.e. 2018, the 63rd Dr. Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Diwas (death anniversary) will be observed.
The President would lead to pay floral tribute to the statue of Babasaheb at Sansad Bhavan Lawns in the Parliament House complex. Following him, the Vice President, Prime Minister and other members of parliament will also pay their tribute to the Architect of Indian Constitution. The Ambedkar Foundation, the autonomous body of Social Justice & Empowerment will be organising the ceremony.
